I'm not lying when I say I'm not even excited for Revelation solely because of the mini game jank in Rebirth. That s*** did permanent damage to me.

I didnt like Rebirth very much (story was ridiculously bloated and it might have been the worst open world experience I've ever had) but I will still play this. Job system seems cool and the combat looks more fluid.

And FF7's just got me by the balls I guess

ff7 on ps1 was 3 discs so they fleshed them out a lot more as 3 individual games (with some creative changes from the og) + the prequel

I legit forgot that basically like 90% of an entire world of that game is just mini games

I know I'll warm up to Revelations, but man, the PS5 did not do Rebirth any favors. Either looked or played like s*** depending on the settings. Very happy I can play on PC lol. Worst case, I can just use Cheat Engine to speed up the game time

I'm sure that Revelations will be better than Rebirth though. Even if it's just making some minor improvements on the open world or combat.

never played them outside of kh1 for a few days rental as a lil kid n didnt get far - everything i see of kh series just baffles me lmao
