Best game this gen for me. I can’t play games for more than 2 hours but this had me playing for 12 hours straight.

I thought the same thing & at first I didn't wanna do the intel s*** but I've been enjoying just going around & hitting s***. Haven't even touched the main story really. This game it seems like the original experience they wanted to make FF7. So many details here. Like Barrett shooting sometimes in battle even if he's not in the party. The synergy, & the increased attention to the lore of the planet & towns. The music is ridiculous, whatever song that plays in Aeriths tutorial in the simulator is fire. It's great, the game. It's what a remake & revision should be. It seems like they even reapproached or realized ideas they just sort of thought about in the first remake systems wise

Feels like one of the first true next gen games regardless of yall tripping off the framerates or whatever lmao

performance mode does look pretty ass though, i usually always choose that one but this time i went with quality and i guess my eyes adjusted after a while it and didnt look too uncomfortable

Would definitely give Baldurs gate and elden ring a shot.

10 hours played and I still can’t believe I’m playing this game.
Not even continued the story to Midgardsomr, just doing side quests and enjoying looking around.

• I love that near Midgar the theme changes to Hollow
• Kalm, I can’t believe how good it looks
• Combat is truly incredible
• I don’t like how Red XIII plays. I’ll give him time
• graphics are incredible, not fussed about the performance smoothing issues
• How the characters talk and engage is f***ing lovely, really great
• map being so massive is just crazy to me, like wtf

The only thing that is so hard to get over In these games is that the people don't talk like real f***ing people.

I like some anime, but the overt gasps constantly will never stop wrecking my nerves.

However, the payoff gets a triple bonus when they have some genuinely good dialog.

Aerith saying "am I dumbass" was so out of nowhere and so funny it felt completely earned after going through so many unrealistic conversations in the last game.

Hitting syngergy abillities feel so satisfying

Feels amazing to play but looks blurry as f*** compared to Graphics mode
