i dont think so. i just think optimization is a lost art

aint no way ff7 remake looks as good as it does on ps4 when rebirth on 5 looks just a tad bit better

These consoles are the equivalent to a 2070

Not bc of this game in particular cuz 16 was poorly optimized too but in general 30 frames and 4k prob gonna be more common in the back half of the gen

honestly hope later gen games absolutely push the console and are 4k 30 just for the sakes of taking the power to the absolute limit to see what we can do with this thing

im in a very minorty who says they should do that cause most people (myself included) prefer 60fps... but tbh we have been prioritizing that way too much this gen where there has been very little innovation graphically

like cmon rdr2 and tlou2 still look better than most ps5 games today

in fairness with rdr2 it's still one of the best looking games on pc too

The only graphical advancement is in ray/path tracing and these current gen consoles cant and could never handle that. Thats why the "consoles havent been pushed yet" takes never made sense.

People think im crazy and just yapping but i aint never told a lie. Its sad that using common sense gets you labelled as a contrarian smh

Playing this as a kid on a PS1, not even understanding 80% of the game. Coming back to it with Remake, looking forward to the trilogy, now all of these reviews saying it's a masterpiece. I'm so f***in happy we're getting this
