Trying to get through FF7 remake on like mission 6 I think but it’s kind of a slog

Never was a fan of the original or turn based rpgs in general. I like the hybrid turn based action combat but it’s still a lil boring to me gameplay wise and the story hasn’t clicked with me yet. Also i don’t really see the appeal of the cast yet. They’re likable but they all kinda feel hallow.

Am I tripping? Does it get better? Want to beat it so I can play rebirth

Damn I forgot that this s*** is coming so soon litteraly next month. I'm impressed with their turnaround on this as the first one came out in 2020 so this coming around 4 years later is not bad, considering this one is much bigger and will be 2 discs.

Lmaooo I feel you idk bro ig FF is a series I always felt that I SHOULD like since I’m a PlayStation head and I love a good story with some good graphics and this game is stunning.

It’s not bad by any means ig it’s just underwhelming from the perspective of a new comer given it’s reputation. I’m gonna keep going and see if the story grabs me once the stakes get a lil higher bc rn it feels like all the characters are just running around flirting with each other

Yeah for sure. I'd keep with it cause there's a lot of crazy moments and boss fights once the story starts picking up.

I made it like 10 or so hours in and uninstalled it never played the og and the remake was pretty boring to me

As an anime and young adult fiction nigga , I’m actually impressed by how much personality these characters have . I’m enjoying the Convos and bonding more than the action so far and i love the combat

Had 40 hours pto carry over I had to use or lose it so I took the week this releases off

Been playing through the og, just got to part 3 in the northern cave and goddamn even the random encounters are requiring me to actually treat them like bosses

been playing thru ff13 recently and idc what anyone says this game has been and will always be one of my favorites in the series
fire gameplay (paradigm system is goated)
top tier soundtrack
and the graphics for a 2009 game still hold up great. might be the best looking game from that generation tbh
