Yes. Great combat system and music hindered by uninspired dungeon design/no towns and it takes a long time for the combat to take the training wheels off.

FFXIII-2 is the much better game in all aspects.

Anybody else find it kinda weird how you never had an actual battle with Odin? You literally had a separate boss fight with each Eikon except Odin lol.

Kinda felt like Titan should have been the final Eikon you fight before Ultima. Barnabas was cool, but I wasn’t really invested in his storyline as I was with Hugo’s.

Life has really gotten in the way of me playing this, but I’m back now. Just finished the first(?) Barnabas “fight.” Estimates on how much game I have left?

id say 10+ hrs if you're doing all side quests plus some hunts. you get A LOT of quests at the end that wrap up storylines and gain keepsakes for your room

10 hours off the top of my head but I did many a side quest

running with Shiva (Gouge / Diamond Dust) and Titan (Pile Drive / Gigaflare) for the perfect dodge/parry punisher loadout was the move btw
