Underutilized. Shocked they didn't have a moment shadow of the colossus style where you are gameplay an eikon crushing many humans or small scale enemies .

Yeah I've noticed a lot of people went in on Nier Automata expecting DMC when it's a story based RPG first and foremost
Like you can do some cool combo s*** in Nier but that's not the focus at all and frankly the difficulty balance is wonky as f***.

swordalmost finished i think. only have Odin left to fight this game is a strong ass 9 so far. nearly a masterpiece but not quite due to one of the only gripes i have: the sidequests & the sidequests disguised as main quests.
they intended for this game to be a rollercoaster and it certainly is but my god, with how high the high's are and how mysterious and intriguing the story is, i do not give a f*** about these fetch quests 😭 i understand it's supposed to be a breather, but i would've preferred them to keep their foot on the gas
