I've played MGS4. After that everything is a cakewalk.

If you’re basing it off the demo, the cutscenes are more evenly distributed past that point.
The yakuza series I’m sure is worse, especially considering how much of it isn’t even voiced.

I very much enjoyed it despite its problems, but it's definitely not universally loved.
