Yea I found myself instinctively pressing circle to dodge a few times too

I’m sure we’ll get use to it after a few hours but I do want to map other things too like magic to one of the top buttons

I don’t play claw grip and you can charge a magic burst while doing a basic sword combo. Would be easier with attack on square and magic on L1 or something like that

Ideally I’d move magic to L1, lock in to triangle, eikon ability to R1, dodge to circle

not exactly what you want but the 3rd button layout changes magic to L1, swap eikons to triangle, and lockon to L2
