RDM is the most easy to pick up for a caster if you wanted to play one its actually just a pretty good job overall. Kinda interested to see what they do with it in Endwalker since its already in such a good place

no kidding lol. somewhat considering snagging a weapon for a tanking class, prob DRK, even though i'm not in love with the 535 version. just another goal to actively work towards in game. my ass just got laid off, so i've got some more time to put into the game

overall, wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it was gonna be. figured it'd take me several weeks to a month. then again, i just did that during some down time when i was working

didn't love the bozja part very much, though i think it was because i was a lower rank and wasn't using essences for a bit. zadnor was a nice change of pace though (plus looks so much better)

Yeah Bozja looks like s*** imma be honest, not sure why they chose that colour palette

I was looking at RDM too and it looks fun asl. I just love the Black Mage aesthetic/playstyle tbh. Job's got some of the coolest looking abilities in the game too

it's a really easy job to pick up as well, like, really easy.

I started off with Conjurer too lol. Great class to learn healing with, and White Mage is pretty simple. Class really starts picking up at 45 when you get Holy.

One note for healing in this game is that you're actually probably going to be dealing DPS more than healing, especially if your party is good. You always wanna be casting Stone and refreshing Aero before it goes off unless your party members are low.

Yeah, I looked at the rotation, and it doesn't seem bad at all. basically boils down to "balance mana and pump out melee combos".

Animations/effects are nice too

yup, that's pretty much it. they're also really nice when it comes to raising people since you can just use that on the dualcast and insta-raise someone.

really all the casters are cool as hell imo. i'd also like to play BLM, but prob gonna focus on leveling a tank and a healer first (until reaper comes out with endwalker, at least )

It's been almost exactly a year since I've started playing and I'm finally in Shadowbringers. I don't want it to end but I'm looking forward to being able to focus on crafting/gathering so I can make cool glams and make lots of money for a house.

What DC does everyone play on? Maybe we can start a KTT CWLS. I'm on Crystal.

Thread is pretty split amongst the DC's iirc. I'm guessing a lot are on Aether, I'm in Primal.

Hopefully they'll make Cross DC Linkshells a thing when they implement DC visits

leveling a DPS is such a pain how do you guys deal with these queues goddamn

DPS 1-60 I do Squadron levelling. Once your Squadron is maxed out they actually do more dps than real people. 60-80 is pain. Although you can do 71-80 through Bozja now.

I tried to level DRK that way and died like 10 floors in

One day I'm gonna give it another shot but probably not anytime soon.

People say it's only possible on RDM but you can probably pull it off with food+potions+pots+smart cooldowns tbh.
