idk i feel like this is one of the rare instances where "its human nature" actually applies
i agree that the portrayal of relationships/families plays a part
but I also think human beings inherently crave the validation of relationships and feel like theyve failed if they dont get it
True but the internet ruined true love a long time ago. Small town Billy Joe would’ve probably found a modest wife just being who he is and she would’ve appreciated him for however long back in the 90s or even early 2000s. Now small town Joe can’t catch a break with women cause he has to compete with dudes all over the world on some app that feeds women egos.
This what a lot of guys are up against today and guys are struggling with this.

While you never entirely know what goes on behind closed doors and I'm just speaking from my personal experience, the guys I know who treat women the worst are the ones that get the most girls and are the most confident
