He has confirmed that it is AI

If this soulless AI slop bullshit is the future of music, I’m more then glad to be ā€œleft behindā€

anything that reminisces the 80s music or visuals imma just assume its AI from now on its literally the lowest hanging fruit and honestly you're dumb if you liked this even before the drama

Q exists and isn’t AI lol

It will never be normalized as long as the general perception is that you press a button and it spits out a final product or most of your final product

And even if Kanye or something were to make a classic project with it and show the process and how it wasn’t just ā€œprompt-to-final releaseā€ and fine tuning the AI result itself + manipulating it beyond just using what it spat back out, people would still buck against it out of principle lol

As long as public reaction is what it is people are gonna lie about their use, see Drake being ambiguous about Iceman credits lol or TI using it on his last album for a sample that I’m not finna snitch on lmao

But Fenix and Tyga definitely used it in a lazy ass way just adding vocals on top of something AI made

yea i somewhat disagree. and i disagree reluctantly
    because I personally hate ai

but i do think eventually the consumer will not give a f*** if something is ai or not. the technology is still new, ill give it another 5-10 years and itll just be standard for commercial production

Death by a thousand cuts. And I'm talking about the eventual acceptance of AI in everything

The consumer already doesn't care, look around all the new restaurants or locally owned ones are using AI menus and social media posts. Everybody got the same burger picture

The consumer is already conditioned to bypass what the food looks like in pictures and commercials. They just need to know what's there

I guess what we do best in this age; shame and harass the people that use it.

I think journalists and music publication sites could play a really important role in pressing artists and holding them accountable for it.

More than artists but also the corporations that are creating the software.

I’ll never willingly spin a song with any ai vocal whatsoever.

    But they’re different circumstances

That carti feature writer/ghostwriter still wrote and recorded the carti verse before his ai voice changer was put on it. The beat was still made by Pharrell. It has real weeknd writing and recording on it. It was structured weeknd and his team. It’s a real song with a dumbass ai carti feature

Fenix song was entirely ai generated. They typed in some prompts and this song was spat out.

Perhaps letting weeknd off the hook is part of the slippery slope and direction that lead to rubbers being a massive song but they’re still different cases. I would judge someone a lot more for spinning rubberz than I would for spinning timeless

I forgot about that Carti s*** lmao that was actually crazy. Nigga couldn’t just recite the verse? SMH
