im not sayin it's not a problem im jus sayin it's irrelevant to the situation here. that whole judge-jury-executioner criticism is about situations where some1 could've very reasonably been handled without killing them but they were killed anyway. if u got a guy breaking in who ain't fazed a single bit by u tellin em to leave and that u got a gun, u dont have a whole lot of reasonable ways to handle that. u either use the gun or some miracle occurs

that was my point that you missed. I understand there is a huge problem of people being murdered by firearms in America, that’s not even debatable. but there are instances, like this, where it’s warranted.

women are killed at an alarming rate by ex partners, it is a HUGE issue. I can probably name 10 women off the top of my head who were killed in the heat of passion, it’s a real issue and people gloss over that because other issues trump that in their eyes I guess.
