    How is this relevant lol

Boyfriend broke in their home and killed her dad. This is just a response to the all the dudes in here saying shooting him was unnecessary. They don’t what type of timing he could’ve been on

these fantasies y'all keep coming up with to justify this is hilarious but also not hilarious at all

Already stated this but my best friend had an ex who broke in and we fought who came back with his friends later and raped her. Once again, the dude broke into a locked door with people warning him on the other side.

Is the only way to resolve it murdering the guy and get off two more shots as he's running away unarmed

Idk it's not really a situation I'm constantly in fear of lol. But a warning shot doesn't seem outrageous

Also this the s*** I was talking about

You shoot off a warning shot, you run the chances of hitting someone that’s not even involved.

Why live with ambiguity and risk when someone has escalated a situation to where you can within the law take their life

Does this mean that everybody in a similar situation should have killed that person out of precaution or what's your point

Well yeah i would have tried to non lethaly subdue him

    Warning shot

Maybe one shot in the legs

Definitely not shooting him in his back twice as he's running away

i already agree the additional two shots seem excessive but the initial one is where you seem to disagree. maybe that was the warning. also how much more of a warning do you need besides "get off my porch" and "i have a gun"?

we also dont know if he had the ring video playing live while at the door with the gun, so i don't want to assume

This is what's terrifying to us non-americans

the "law to take someone life" is INSAANEEEEE broo

This is so normal huh that's really wild

  • Aug 29, 2022

The difference in perception ITT also comes down to self defense laws being different outside the US

The ultimate factor is everybody having guns

That is terrible, and I genuinely mean that.

But it also isn't the same as what you originally said. If you have a gun and fire a warning shot at somebody, the overwhelming OVERWHELMING majority of people are gonna get scared off and not come back. They aren't going to say, "Damn I need to come back stronger."
