Sneaker culture is a huge reason I like shoes but culture is pretty much dead currently

Oh,I feel you,I think it’s cause Virgil basically took over the limited edition market. And I don’t understand how SBs got so hype either(Travis Scott?)it feels like the hype is dying tho. Those ALD New Balances are great imo,I’m trying to avoid buying things from resellers but that may be one shoe I’m interested enough in to buy from somewhere like Grailed.

The line between Hype and GR is so blurred right now because of Nike spamming everything that brand is f***ing there while s*** up right now man

There’s nothing cool going with Nike and Adidas ont capitalize 😔

Yep,Nikes brand isn’t the same as it use to be,especially Jordan Brand. Jordan’s use to hold way more weight than they do now,retros damn near blurred the line between sportswear and luxury imo. Now I think they’ve let let Jordan’s(at least retros) release way too much in stupid ass color ways that no one asked for.

Don’t forget the rampant fakes also,that’s kinda what made me exit sneakers for a minute cause if a pair of Jordan’s were hot,you’d somehow see everyone in their mom with them,somebody’s rocking fakes. But yeah,Nike needs to go back to the drawing board,they killed the brand prestige by a lot.
