https://putthison.com/bruce-boyer-on-finding-your-wardrobe-and-sustainability-in-fashion/ great interview!
A very great read that gives good perspectives on the most central topics of clothing today. Everyone interested in clothes should read it, but especially those that want to find their style.
I really liked this quote: "I think we must assume that style isnβt won easily. Those who have it are held together with scar tissue."
I also relate very much to the care of his clothes. When I buy a new piece I see myself wear it forever and I never sell my clothes

To each their own fam -- setting was gorgeous. It's a big ask to sit down for a 13 min fashion vid, and I did at least. Would run it back too.
My main knocks are the CELINE logo placements reads tacky. Not expecting that from Hedi, but I guess that's what you gotta do to sell nowadays. Also those fur boots obviously ain't it lol. Otherwise I'm pleased with the direction -- SS21 felt like a troll.
I also really like the story/inspiration. Especially compared to Kim's Dior FW21, who pulled from a similar "royal guard" type narrative, way more wearable imo. Appreciate the execution, but Kim's was too focused to actually pop out on days not Halloween.
nahh you're sharp
inventible really: those 2 lanes were bound to coincide. Let's see what Hedi has in store with couture and future plans for the house. It's still pretty early on: don't want to give him excuses but it's interesting seeing the quick $$$ plays, which again is rather uncharacteristic. Like you said, probs pandemic pressure from suits.
I was also thinking the other day (probably giving free game to Complex/HYPEBEAST/whoever's lurking): hardware is the next "hot biz" post footwear for high fashion. I think Virigl can/should take credit. Seeing it at Yoon/Dior, Matthew/Givenchy, Bottega V etc. Because most are plated and/or brass, they run competitive with the price points of "designer" sneaks, which as a whole are more accessible than most RTW offerings outside of sale season.
Expect to see more lines incorporate/push hardware, more people buy it, more resale listings etc.
