as long as youre not dealing with anything hype you should be fine. i have a decent amount of sales on depop and have never really had any problems. i hate selling shoes though the shipping plus fees hit different

the shipping costs for sneakers <<< esp when it’s one of those collab sneakers that come in a big ass fancy box and now shipping gonna be like 20$ lol

also just recently started taking advantage of first class shipping. Been using usps priority for everything cause I thought first class didn’t come w a tracking number smh coulda saved so much money

Lol for depop I just use their shipping labels when it comes to shoes. I think their prices are slightly cheaper than if you were to pay for them yourself, plus if theres a problem for whatever reason you wont be down the money you spent shipping it.

Idk though I used to get away with using smaller labels for when I sold stuff but my last couple sales Ive been getting emails saying my items were bigger than the label. They didnt make me pay or anything though..

First class cheaper by a lot but takes 2-7 days

also I print all my usps labels through PayPal and noticed that first class shipping only requires a weight to calculate shipping fees and not box/package dimensions as well

I think the fee is like 10%? I just hate selling shoes because unless theyre hyped youre pretty much always losing money because a 10% fee on anything over like $50 is a decent amount + an extra like $10 for shipping. And buyers dont seem to care at all lol.

If you use the Depop label the seller pays for the shipping and that money goes straight to depop to pay for the label. I think I use a large usually for shoes which is like $10 and I believe thats the recommended size for when selling shoes.I like using Depop labels in general just because its easier and I dont have to deal with spending personal money to ship out.
