As a music critic I did. He had a lot of knowledge to me and put me on to music outside of the genres I f***ed with. I enjoyed that he kept it at the music but in the last few years he’s kind of strayed away from that
That’s valid but u dont need music critics to learn more about and put u onto music
Where was this energy when he gave Ye and KSG 8 & 10s when Kanye disrespected black people?
pretty sure he only gave KSG a 10, but to answer your question
you might’ve been living in a bubble of kanye stans during that time period because there were a lot of people very vocally against kanye for what he said back then as well. that group of vocal people has only grown since.
It's so weird how much of a disconnect there is with critics and listeners on this album. Everyone I've talked to IRL is pretty indifferent to positive about the album, but critics are treating it like it's the worst album they've heard in their life. I understand not liking Kanye and by extension not enjoying the album because of its lyrical content, but critics are having these wild ass complaints as if the entire album is Kanye shouting over a single 808 note for 55 minutes.
I'm not even a Kanye fan like that anymore, but I don't understand how these same critics who use Yeezus and Pablo as examples as when "Kanye was good" are claiming this is the worst s*** they've ever heard.
he too p**** to talk about the album cus he knows he'll secretly like it if he drops the act
but he's not wrong about anything he says about ye or his fans himself - but it's not really a hot take either to call either of them cancer at this point
so the only reason i can think of to upload this video is purely for attention
Why is he even listening if he is just going to talk about ye and his fans and not the music? He can post on shaderoom if he cares more about the gossip than the music
His major criticism of Hoodrat was that nobody would play it in a social setting
Meanwhile he gave Scaring the hoes a 9/10
I heard kingdom hearts key in a social setting but it wasn’t a social setting that I enjoyed so…

Critics already made their minds up about the album when Ye announced it back in December lol
In the real world, people love it lol

I’m talking about Anthony Fantano
Seeing people act like this album is better than even Donda is insane to me, it's uninspired nonsense with Ye's worst verses ever
donda has more awful moments to me

You could say that about the entire catalogue of s*** he loves. Bro listens to death grips unironically
Even if you don’t like what Ye is doing on there Ty is absolutely going crazy on that album man
Jon Denton is the best YouTube reviewer we have now, Fantano has been trash for years now

he comes off as a music sxn poster here when he's usually an in the mud RYM/4 chan poster

It's not shocking that reviewers would pan an album from a guy who used to be a self proclaimed nazi
No review of this album has been in good faith
I can't see people listening to this thing in 5 years man, Kanye's just washed at this point
he's buggin this is not worse than JIK lol his worst albums remain JIK and Donda 2
