not even just that but once you’re #1, they’re gonna look to pick you apart. every move is magnified

    RT. This was inevitable.

I’m just mad the verse wasnt crazy (and no, he doesnt have to diss or sub anyone for that to happen)

Think good credit taught me it’s some production some rappers just dont sound the best over

We are going to have bitter people trying to catch Kendrick in every “gotcha” situation they can for the foreseeable future and all because he wiped the floor with Drake

Bro said gotcha moment like he won’t on the gay vampire’s album three times

    I agree..

I am enjoying his features on the Carti album (listening to that album for the first time right now)

I think fantanos point is true but yea I also don’t think it’s some big point against Kendrick the artist. Kendrick is good at describing complex concepts including things that are hypocritical.

I would argue against someone saying Fantano is an idiot in this clip

I would also argue against someone saying Kendrick’s works are problematic

R Kelly was a serial pedo and rapist. Carti a piece of a s*** but he ain’t on that level. You gotta stop comparing him to Kelly

Or the one where he wasted his Superbowl building up to a song calling Drake a pedo but he has two adult women on stage with him who have been with Drake in the past and somehow thats a gotcha moment.

kendrick never once said he was morally superior to drake drake took it there first accusing him of beating his wife and fathering another man’s kid so he took it there too, end of discussion

Why is he constantly leaning into it lol

If you dont want to be seen as "that guy" why is he constantly portraying himself as ... that guy

Did you read his post or just typing without thinking

Why can’t artists lean into religious themes sometimes? We all have these questions and doubts about our own faith sometimes, why are we pretending like what Kendrick is doing is an isolated situation? It’s literally just art

Religion has been a theme in art for literally ever

I’m not lightening it. He’s a bad guy and doesn’t seem willing to change but R Kelly was having women held captive in his basement
