no one is solely s***ting on fantano, they’re s***ting on his fanbase as well, that’s the entire point, hence the thread is talking about music discourse being harmed dude. he’s the focal point of all of it, it isn’t his fault but it what it is

You can’t listen to Drake without knowing who Drake is because he self inserts his own character across the album. Same for Kanye, which he made clear in his DONDA video

I’m glad I’m not the only one who picked up on it.The things he said about Baby and Gunna in the Drip Too Hard era was some of the most disrespectful s*** ever and it’s difficult to ignore the racial and social element of it even if fantano isn’t an outwardly racist person. Some of those reviews come off like “fuck this ghetto s*** this isn’t art” idk

He didn’t “flip on Baby”, it’s called nuance.
He doesn’t like Baby’s albums but he likes the string of features he’s had lately. But no, everyone’s gotta be all or nothing, all the time.
Did Baby switch his style? No lol
Nuance would be not giving an album a “not good” as a score and completely disrespecting someone as an artist basically saying they have no merit at all, and then when the kind of rappers you respect more like Cole and Kanye put him on there music all of a sudden you can see the merit even tho he really hasn’t changed what he was doing. I can see liking his features more than his albums but to the point of giving a not good and being as disrespectful as he was, nah I call that a flip.
