1 hr commute isn’t uncommon. I know people that do it.

I never had to, it’s not ideal but paying more in gas money is still cheaper than literally paying rent at two places

I don’t know any college kid that’s paying for two places at once, even the rich ones. That’s an insane money drain that could be avoided.
