one of the best things I've read in ages. Really liked The Sisters Brothers as well.Remember you saying you'd read some Irvine Welsh? Marabou Stork Nightmares is his best I think.
Not sure what else to recommend, I love almost everything Vonnegut and McCarthy have done. Started reading some Patricia Highsmith this year and she's a lot of fun.
