You've been on a major Firm kick lately, huh? Nice. I've had King's Disease stuck on repeat, T.I.'s Urban Legend (nostalgic pick of the week), Apollo Brown & Che Noir's As God Intended and Descendants of Cain.
Maybe I should give Mega Philosophy a chance. To be honest, the only Mega albums I've ever listened to were The Realness and True Meaning.

Yeah, the reunion inspired me. Doe or die is an issue underrated classic, but I’d never got around to checking mega philosophy, it’s actually a really nice little album. There’s a track on
There called industry with a really nice remix with roc Marciano, inspectah deck etc. It’s not on the album but it’s on streaming.
Descendants of cain is my s***, maybe my favourite album this year... so much strong s*** this year it changes though

AZ's entire discography is underrated, tbh. There was a time when he was in my Top 10. One of the few artists that me and my brother bonded over. It's a jazzy "Grown Man" type of album, right? Descendants of Cain is an album that reveals something new every time I listen to it. Nothing but gems.
This is one hell of a year for Hip-Hop.

Lmao, I fw @basedspirit even though he's a Nas hater. Seems like his mind is already made up and I don't think I could say anything that'll change it.

S*** can change over time, just going through life and having different experiences. I was a huge Jay-Z fan and while I still like his music a lot he isn't my favorite. I used to fw Drake heavy and now I don't care for him. Around 2012-13 I realized that Nas is the best rapper to ever do it.. but I still fw'd Kanye and Kendrick more in terms of artistry, for the next 5 years that followed. Then in the last few years it's been Nas by a pretty large margin lol.
Excited for Kelly Lee Owens tomorrow, her debut was dope
yeah her debut came out of nowhere but it’s really nice and accessible Electronica/house
