you havent heard his older albums? he always used his real voice more or less on those. blood on the tracks was some weird s*** he was trying out.

lol i’ve heard most of his popular albums, but i’m talking about that almost faux country accent he would do on a lot of tracks. he was doing that off and on till Blood on the Tracks at least.

if you listen to how he talked in the 60s and how he sang on Freewheeling, it’s not the same

is there a better closing 2 tracks on an album than All Along the Watchtower -> Voodoo Child (Slight Return)?
so amazing to get through the whole double album and thats how it ends

It's not really ordered (other than by top 5, top 10, top 15, etc) but I'm not about to try and finesse the order so you can treat it, as is, as 1-50 ordered properly. I probably don't feel strongly enough about another 10 albums to get it up to 60; I was already kinda unfussed about 4 of the last 5.

By the way, what is the preference for foreign artists and album titles (particularly those in non Latin alphabets)? Original, romanization, translation?

yeah this is a lil more dramatic than usual, but even in the 60s he always had a lil twang in his voice that is not present in his speaking voice. like stretching vowels and s***. you get what i’m saying?

might not be as obvious to someone who didn’t grow up in a small, hick town in the U.S.
