oh i made this layout like 2 months ago, but recently been messing with detail s*** and now it's driving me crazy

literallly just switching the contrast and brightness back and forth trying to figure out which i like better

\i asked my roomate which one was better, ..."I like them both" ... like thanks but that wasnt the question

"My shooter come over, sniff out the whole block
Hand me 5 locks, load up the whole sock
Had to spend 60 in the SHU, 23 in 1, 500 burpees all I knew
First day, anyway, I go "Nigga, who is who?"
Insanely hard line from Wes, Blientele is definitely my fav joint from him. The wrestling theme really came full circle here.

It’s probably my favorite thing he’s done also. Every track is good, the features all hit hard and West is in his bag. The songs he has with wrestling titles are always good, so you’re right he really made it work this time around

Descending Scale this is way more Saucerful of Secrets than I was expecting

that one and the title track are the masterpieces on the album for me. The others are still very good but the album in general really benefit from being this Fusion/Blues fusion and Peter Green's guitar being the emotional highlight of every track without any vocals trying to steal the spotlight. Descending Scale is perhaps the trippiest and most atmospheric track. The title track is imo the greateat guitar solo ever.

His ear for sound sculpting is extremely underrated too imo.

The album takes a while to sink in tho. It might appear a bit noodly at first but that turns out to be pretty far from the truth imo.

Agreed about his ear for sculpting.... Thats why his non blues songs almost have a post-rock feel. Closing My Eyes sound exactly like Godspeed in miniature at times.

Did I tell you about how I always thought I was 100% Anglo-Saxon Irish Scottish English until I was watching M last time and I realized how similar inspector Lohmann's name was to my mother's maiden name, Brohman, and I was like "wait a minute am I German" and the rest of my family was like "yes youre 1/4 German" that side of the family has been in Canada for like 6 generations though

Nobody has more scorching yet precise and incredibly angular solos than Beck in the mid 60s.

He took what Dave Davies did on the early Kink hits to the next level, and Hendrix was just taking what Beck did with the Yardbirds to the next level, adding some elegant Mayfield textures and more legitimate blues.
