Matt Taibbi still does good reporting. He’s one of the only decent “mainstream” journalists left.

As much as i love Shania, Dixie Chicks and the like...every time i think "i wish more people made that kind of pop country nowadays", i can't help but immediately feel like the god-awful stagnant pop-country of the past decade is (like it or not) the natural continuation of those GOAT 90s icons
