Ah that's fair enough it's great, definitely a highlight of Sylvian's discography and Fripp is Fripp lol. I enjoy Sylvian in general, particularily his 80s records either solo or with Japan

Yeah its weirdly way more anime feeling than the older ones i played. Idk why they took the designs in this direction lol

One of few cover songs ill take over an original, those horns and Garm's voice bring that warmth in the autumn night.

We were talking about warmest albums recently and Shadows is definitely one of them
I prefer the original though
Boring answer but Lennon really the king, his voice instantly conjures a potent narcotic haze over any song
After that Ray possibly even though he wasn't trying really. That fey, effete sometimes goofy style is really disarming and effective for psychedelic music. Syd too
. And whoever sings lead for Zombies, i'm never really sure.
mine:
Beatles and beach boys ofc
Jim Morrison
Roky Erickson
Arthur Brown
dudes from Spirit
Colin Blunstone from zombies
Adam Blessing (new one for me)
Blunstone was great when i saw zombies on the O&O 50th anniversary tour.
this was the song that sparked the question, i might have played in a plug before. vocals are stunning to me in the choruses and final climax
