15fps battle menus, sound glitch, no speed boost, untouched backgrounds, save file bugs. Unless they patched most of those in the last few months, 7/8/9 all had these issues.

I had no issues with 7's port

The 9 remaster was good but they only updated the main character models so it can look jarring sometimes. Otherwise no issues here (except having to pause everytime I wanted to use the fast forward which felt clunky and annoying, but that wasn't game breaking)

I stopped playing 8 after about 30 seconds when I realized they replaced the soundtrack with some MIDI bullshit. I could have modded it with the original but I was just so annoyed I just uninstalled it. The remaster is a clusterfuck from what I hear and I don't like the new models.
