ok, I have that username since I was 12 years old.

It was in a German Super Smash Bros Brawl board, which doesn't exist anymore, and I called myself "Naruto" because I really liked the manga at that point (it was good this time. Just around the time skip.) and then I thought it might be a little boring and took the first letter and put it last making it "Aruton". Godzilla was also a childhood hero of mine so I took the Japanese original name Gojira and put it after Aruton making it "Aruton Gojira". However, that was too long so after being called Aru as a nickname by others I just took the "ji" syllable and combined them making it "Aruji". Years later I found out that it's actually a real Japanese word meaning "lord" or "master".

What's the backstory behind elric, elric?

  • Aruji

rewatched Tree Of Life recently. Still a masterful film and I might prefer it to what he has done afterwards even though I have rewatched them more often. The film really hits deep.

i think i have parasite rated higher on LB but as i thought about it I prefer ToL. Such a behemoth of a film that was hard to give 5stars after first watch. Parasite much easier to digest, still amazing though

The watermark actually wasn't noticeable for like 80% of the film tbh. Forgot how many landscape shots there are, which basically make it invisible haha
