Music for 18 Musicians is from 1976. It's just a new recording. Same with In C. However, it's difficult with Classical stuff. How do you count it?

The Africa Express recording of In C is at least rearranged.

I will allow the 18 musicians one since it is essentially a live album, same with the In C recording, but the disintegration loops is just a box set with extra features that happened to be released last decade

pretty much every Classical recording of a bigger ensemble is a live album. that's the problem imo.

It's not like these albums are getting 9-10 votes each. They are most likely unique votes. Only one I have an issue with is the Disintegration Loops which is just a remaster in a box set

I would like to have updated my list to include sd laika's that's harakiri, jamila woods's heavn, and maybe janelle monae's dirty computer... but unless anyone else voted for those, and I don't recall seeing anyone do so, it doesn't seem worthwhile.

Seeing the performance really does it justice. From what I read they were p much broken up at this point and haven't done much rehearsals. Layne was really going through it hard.. Throughout Jerry gives him glances and nods when he hits those notes perfectly and takes over when emotions get the better of him.
