i don't get how some people are criticizing the new Fiona Apple album for weak songwriting but then go on praising imo the most unorganically written and most overwrought song on the album. I like Cosmonauts but to me it's kinda hypocritical.

Who’s even criticizing the project for songwriting? Seems that’s the one thing every single person agrees is great.

sure, I am eradicating most of the praise in my head because it's ridiculous hype. 100 % on metacritic is always funny imo.

I have my own issues with some portions of the albums but I'm mostly referring to some criticism on rym and what fantano said in his review. Tbf, I didn't think his review was worse than the P4k review by comparison. Both were unexpectingly lacklustre imo.
