Fam, i been praising that Khun Narin album and putting it at the top of random lists in Fam thread for years. Where you been?
All I know is that Benji love gon look sexy
I've always wanted to try and contact SVGC and ask them if the second verse of "Bike Riding Days" is a reference the Von Trier's Melancholia, haha. Every time I listen to it i think about how it's basically a brief summary of that film's major plot points

Album is way too good to not be in my top 10 tbh
remaining indifferent to things that dont have name recognition if you dont grab me by the lapels and yell in my face to check it out
My faves:

Also these 4 songs but you have to listen to each pair together:
• "Baisi Sukhwan" --> "Sao Kalasin Lam Phloem"
• "Long Wat" --> "Thang Jai Thang Jao"
@Elric - Their first album (Khun Narin's Electric Phin Band) is also dope, but I've listened to II wayyyy more since finding them

its more minimal than i expected
expected southeast Asia version of some gnarly Red Krayola thrum in my face
may not be a guaranteed reply but they did reply when I said I liked the new album. that's a different situatuion though lol

It's a lot of repeated patterns but you get plenty of super loud/chaotic jam moments in between the more mellow grooves

real af tho
At earliest perhaps In a Priest-Driven Ambulance. The first album that became more "Pop". I guess Hit To Death is really the beginning of the real transition. However, none of them is really as baroque as Soft Bulletin. If anything, the closest prior to SB itself would be Zaireeka.
What are the chances you can pull up my list, freund
