Arujialmost every 2020 album I've listened to and like on first listen felt flat as soon as I put play a second time. Twilight Dawn and Miss Anthropocene the only ones that have somewhat held up and I didn't even like Anthropocene that much. That Uzi Vert album was also super mediocre. Any cool recs?

First listen to Jesus is King since the week of its release to see if my mind is changed:
Live re-reaction: cool opener but meh
Selah: Considering the leaked version of "Selah"? JiK version feels uninspired with the reappropriated Jesus lyrics but the hallelujah interlude is great.
Follow God: my f***ing ears hurt this clipping who tf let this go through.
Closed on Sunday: I like the second half, wish it was longer and kept that gloomy instrumental going. Chick fil a s*** is stupid
On God: ok beat, stupid lyrics
Everything We Need: just not a good song y'know
Water: cool grooves til ye's verse. Yikes
God Is: most believable Jesus loving affirmation next to Sunday. Not a fan of the scratchy throat but the passion is there.
Hands On: one of the more interesting beats but is Kanye keeping my attention? Nop
UTG: poorly edited transitions. Song had potential to be monumental with better focus. Malice ethered. F*** kenny g
