    Always thought Alphaville just did Forever Young and nothing else of note, but the album that’s from is pretty great. It strikes a nice balance between Duran Duran, Roxy Music, and Tears for Fears.

    @Elric when you were doing your synthpop deep dive years ago, did you ever try that one out?

    Nae didn't even know that was the name of the Forever Young guys. Really looking forward to getting into the synth pop years in the BSOEY thread. Gonna have to wait till then cause it's so close.

    True but I'm too close to the 80s now to cross pollinate like that. Will spoil my immersion. If I'm listening to anything that's not 1975 it's gotta be several decades later.

    Forever Young was well used in Marty Supreme though.

    It was funny when I was in Liverpool and everybody kept apologizing for the s***ty weather since we come from one of the rainiest town in North America. My grandpa really emigrated from one of the soggiest cities in the UK to one of the soggiest out here.
