Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Sabbath had the best run as far as white rock bands go
But they were no P-Funk

They laid the way for me and my brethren riff squad

Obviously Neil Young and Bowie are at the top, but I’d also throw in Todd Rundgren, Mott, ELO, Stevie Wonder, Wizzard/Roy Wood, and Genesis/Peter Gabriel.
Klaus Schulze (Irrlicht, Cyborg, Timewind, Moondawn, X)
Popol Vuh (Affenstunde, In den Gärten Pharaohs, Hosianna Mantra, Letzte Tage, Letzte Nächte, Eins & Siebenjäger)
Kraftwerk (Kraftwerk 1, Kraftwerk 2, Ralf & Florian, Trans Europa Express, Die Mensch Maschine)
Residents (Meet The Residents, Not Available, Fingerprince, Third Reich'n Roll, Eskimo)
Joni Mitchell (For The Roses, Ladies of the Canyon, Blue, Hejira, Court & Spark)

Who is the greatest German musician of all time?
Shine On You Crazy diamond intro still unbeaten. Natural Snow Buildings are who...?
I was never as big on their 60’s stuff as you. I prefer solo Syd. I’m definitely more of a 70’s Floyd guy. Honestly, this might be my favorite Pink Floyd song.

Yeah and it's cute but it ain't got s*** on Sabbath
Like what
Are you gonna be mad at me if I say Tchaikovsky was better
nah but he didn't have breadth Beethoven had
I'd definitely take Shostakovich over Tchaikovsky and maybe Prokofiev as well

Give me some Beethoven bangers
It invented them
It's the My Bloody Valentine s*** all over again
Just cause they invented a sound doesn't mean they're the best at it
Give me some Beethoven bangers

one of the saddest pieces by him but it does have that jovial section to cheer up a little.

The somberness is very Godspeed
Sabbath never impressed me that much. I think their albums are pretty spotty, and it’s not really until the 4th or 5th record where Ozzy is able to really take advantage of his vocal talents. Until then, it’s mostly just him singing the same melody as the riff. Then again, I’m not someone who’s easily won over by just a killer riff or groove. Songwriting generally, melody, and exciting chord changes move me more.
Dark Side might be overrated but omg Wish You Were Here is even better than i remembered.
