I honestly believe its a mix of social media hyperbole, the media desperately selling/sowing division, the politicization of common sense, and a lack values be it religion or some kind of structure. I think its easier to throw a fast reaction then to hear or try to understand both sides of an argument. Of course this is a p basic assessment and can be applied to both sides of the political stratosphere but If I could choose I would love a return to a simpler time.

Where I live is certainly not the heartland of America, in fact there is nothing America about it except being a melting pot. A lot of different opinions, cultures, languages. But the country really isn't that much of a dystopia as you'd think. Some believe in this and some believe in that.
