I hear ya, its definitely a flawed flick but in a way I think it adds to the chaos. Might be a grower. Still one of my fav opening credits

Jan 2·1 replyKoalaTbh it was a polarizing movie when it dropped but its kaleidoscopic gonzo style filmmaking is still nuts. I prefer Stone’s heavy handed satire to QT’s dialogue for this one

we were hot knifing roaches in like grade 8 once which caused me to "green out" and I was basically paralyzed in front of a tv that happened to be playing Natural Born Killers and man I had a f***ed up time

I love seeing his worlds through other people’s eyes. I’m honestly glad he’s retiring after 10, if that means he’ll give more scripts to other filmmakers. I was initially rolling my eyes at the decision to have Fincher direct a Cliff Booth movie, but now it seems a little exciting. He’ll also surely write more books and dabble in television, so it’s not like his presence won’t be felt.
