@Koala
Speakin on mysterious guy rap I gotta peep that new Armand Hammer joint
Been meaning to check that out. Cover art is my vibe. I listened to some of Motomami and liked what i heard
Its way different than motomami. Its maximalist baroque pop with like orchestras and s***. Crazy album
Even better, it's the Koz
Speakin on Koz did you hear SKM latest joint from this year ? At this point you kinda know what your getting with Koz but its p cool and more engaging than he's been in awhile.

Also gotta love Koz unabashed humility as he makes a 12 min song about his constipation and taking Dulcolax
and that break beat once they start kicking in haha

I added it to my library but still haven't gotten around to listening
Although now i gotta hear that constipation song. Rambling quasi-spoken word 10+ min songs were what made me love Common as Light
Chili Lemon Peanuts and Stranger Than Paradise

Sober Zach
Looking forward to him dropping a life affirming, "rebirth" masterpiece.
That post really just made me wanna play "Mine Again" for the 10,000th time. Was a top 5 ZB song for me on my first listen of Heartbreak, and is still in my top 5. Such a good tune.

You've converted back to CD > MBDTF
You've converted back to CD > MBDTF
idk MBDTF is more consistent but I listen to CD more these days. Get Em High might be the weakest track in my Top 5 but the album just works so well as it's own thing.
however, this is really a rough draft. Already have two albums I'd add now. Jungle Brothers. forgot how great they are

Golden Age of Hip Hop kinda underrated on RYM. The production of many records during this era is incredibly creative.
@Elric what was that Tina Turner album Pandora's Box reminded you of?
River deep mountain high
Just the songs Spector produced though
Mani died RIP
