Yeah, one thing I’ll say about pre-New Hollywood movies is they have that “magic” quality that was mostly lost when things started moving towards realism

Lauryn floated all over the whole album. She is easily the standout on that record, but Wyclef does his thing too

hot take. It's as good as Illmatic to me. Not from a rapping perspective of course but as an album in general. Lauryn & Wyclef just have that sort of aural chemistry.
