Did you peep that Deadguy album ? Production is A1 and middle aged never sounded so angry. Nice sophomore album a whole 30 years later!
I peeped the first single when it dropped but I keep forgetting the album is out. Cool to see it getting a ton of acclaim though, I’ll probably check it out over the weekend
Pet Shop Boys' Very is lowkey a contender for their best album. I'm not sure about Introspective but I might prefer it to the other classics. Love how uplifting it is
Even in-ground pools freak me out if they don’t have a night light. Going into the pitch black ocean
Same 1000%

Excited for this one. Feel like the last couple Gibbs albums have been a bit hit and miss but Alfredo still sounds so good

Cover is hard af
@Aruji so you've really joined the riff squad at this point huh
i guess it was inevitable once i rediscovered hard rock.
However, I've been so negligient on Metal that I really wanted to get into the genre more so I'm basically listening to plenty of classics (I really had issues with growls but Death was the perfect entry band and Rise recommended them to me ages ago anyway). So much good music I have been sleeping on for various reasons.
do you have any recs?

Check out Left Hand Path by Entombed. Probably the quintessential European death metal album.

Might be obvious choices but I think you'd dig bands like early Opeth, Isis, Agalloch and Neurosis. Some of the best discographies in the genre, progressive musically, and a gateway into harsher vocals.

masterpiece. im not really even a huge fan of that Swedish buzzsaw guitar sound but its just too good. Guitar solo section at the end of the title track is unreal
Dismember debut also similarly great
