For a current player comp I’d say Pascal Siakam with more playmaking potential. He’s similar to AK-47 defensively, but should be more of a 21-23ppg kinda guy.
I’m actually higher on Dylan Harper, who is basically a more athletic Cade Cunningham

AK-47 remains one of the hardest nicknames in NBA history
I hope KotH doesn't go overboard with the Gen Z/Alpha references
I wanna have faith in Mike Judge but these reboots never hit the same, I mean something like Hank finally gets an Iphone would be lame.

Ill stick with these memories

Yea Beavis and Butthead tried something too.. These shows were a time and place thing, I get why Judge would give it a try with KoTH but at the same time ill pass.

2025 has been an overwhelmingly busy year for music, and at my current pace, I'm going to listen to almost 330 new albums before the end of the year, even while putting out an album of my own. That's too high, frankly, and I need to pull back and relisten to more records, as well as check out some older music. However, my wishlist just keeps getting bigger, so it's been a tricky balancing act.
This is my top 20 right now:
1. Huremic - Seeking Darkness
2. Lou-Adriane Cassidy - Journal d'un loup-garou
3. Billy Woods - GOLLIWOG
4. Backxwash - Only Dust Remains
5. Ichiko Aoba - Luminescent Creatures
6. Perfume Genius - Glory
7. Mei Semones - Animaru
8. Black Country, New Road - Forever Howlong
9. Destroyer - Dan's Boogie
10. Frog - 1000 Variations on the Same Song
11. Jane Remover - Revengeseekerz
12. Car Seat Headrest - The Scholars
13. Erika de Casier - Lifetime
14. Darkside - Nothing
15. FKA twigs - Eusexua
16. Oklou - Choke Enough
17. Men I Trust - Equus caballus
18. The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
19. Tennis - Face Down in the Garden
20. PinkPantheress - Fancy That

my ass listening to the same disembodied album every other day
The most out of hand my music listening habits ever got was 2018, when I listened to an unheard album from my RYM wishlist every single day, including the day my daughter was born, plus another 262 new albums from 2018.
The approach to music I currently have is a lot healthier, but I've sacrificed older music discoveries for new ones. I listen to a 2025 album on my commute basically every day and that accounts for most of it.
My time not listening to albums is usually spent rehearsing with my bands or listening to sports or psychology podcasts. Sometimes I listen to anxiety affirmations in the morning if I know it's going to be a difficult day and that helps.

Yeah I was going similarly ham about a decade ago when I was making sure I experienced either a new movie or album every single day (back when I did my little miniature album cover/movie poster recreations on my calendar).
Now I'm pretty much the polar opposite of you and spend 98% of my listening time to dust from 1974 or whichever year I'm studying. have absolutely fallen off even remotely pretending to be up to date on what's new and good.
That Twigs albums is the only one of those I've heard and yeah its amazing
Like I said in it's thread, hits that sweet sweet Bjork/Grimes/late 90s Madonna vibe.

I kinda don't care about new music the same way I used to even 3-5 years ago
everything feels so algorithmic
i gotta catch up on listening to 2025 albums
barely heard any smh

Things are so fractured now compared to back in the day when most of the best artists from any genre were pretty well known. So hard to sift through it all and try to figure out who does what.
Apparently now more music now comes out in a day than what used to come out in like a whole year back in the 80s. so I don't feel too bad about it.
