Indie pop like Japanese Breakfast and Mitski is pretty safe in general, but I also play a lot of instrumental hip hop like Nujabes, Dilla, Madlib beat tapes, etc. I have a YouTube playlist of my favorite beats that I use sometimes.
When they're working, throwing on long mixes with the same vibe is nice:
And then if I'm on one that day, I'll throw on a DJ set in the background:
I swear if I didn't have total control over what I listened to I'd enjoy my job a lot less.
