Nah the last one I got was Shaft I think and it was a gift. Actually haven’t bought many physical movies lately. Wanted to get Heat on 4K but just rebought the bluray the other day

damn that’s a tough one, think it’s still am for me. been in rotation for like 12 years and still hits hard af. the solos and leads alone.. kind of taps into the early Pile thing where the jams are the most emotionally charged moments on the album. couldn’t have asked for a better college rock album to drop when I was in my early 20s, wtf do kids even have to fill that space today lmao

musically buds may be their peak tho, it’s just such a treat. the kind of gem you only get from a group that’s been playing together for almost 20 years. gold standard of how somethin like this should sound

Witches Of Eastwick is amazing too. Peak Nicholson ham and Cher/Susan/Pfeiffer hotness.

i didnt really love the ending part where it felt like he was still cracking jokes too much. overall was good though. kinda similar with Anya not quite convincing me only on a few of those dialogue moments

also just reinforced how amazing my Fury Road rewatch was, loved seeing Immortan Joe and his citadel more. also the gas town and bullet farm locations. more war boy stuff and everything fleshed out really well.

action scenes werent slaying me quite as much as the unbelievable fury road ones but still great. can tell it will be good rewatch

yeah the continuation of Fury Roads world building with the factions is so good. apparently he formed alot if it for the Mad Max videogame I gotta check it out

and the action isn't quite as visceral obv since its mostly green screen but I feel like the staging of some of the action is some of the best and most creative green screen usage ever. really wild.

yeah definitely felt the green screen. was thinking how some of it just felt a bit too fake and not gritty enough even though still cool
