its pretty wild how we are racking up the years as Fam at this point

this community definitely has a different feel to others ive been a part. something about the focus on our most intense hobbies alongside the old message board format instead of a quick text/voice chat format

we know more of each other's thoughts/opinions on some of our greatest passions than most anyone in our real lives which is an interesting thought

one thing I told her is I don't know anyone in real life who has an interest in music/film etc. like people here. I think fam just organically created itself out of necessity because let's be honest most people irl just listen to the Top 50 (which is fine). No one decided to create this thread, it kind of just fell into place. Life wills it.

When to Buckingham palace today for my dad's OBE. Was quite cool. Christopher Nolan was there getting knighted I stood next to him in the line lol. Didn't say anything wanted to play it cool. Saw the king too which was cool

I was at a beer festival in the summer and this very attractive chick that I had not seen in like a decade came up to me and my gf to reminisce about our last conversation where she told me that her uncle was a roadie for Bob Dylan.

All I remember was trying to pick her up lol but she says i asked her what her favorite Bob songs were and when she told me it was like Lay Lady Lay and Knockin On Heaven's Door etc I apparently told her those were good songs but super basic choices mf gf was like "of course you did".
