ahh okay I've read that there's an essay in it and thought that was the title story but maybe i'm confused. Currently reading Notes from The Underground

The premise of a horror film set in Antartica or conversely the Arctic is such a great idea. You see it a ton in literature but not much in film. I've been meaning to check out this semi-historical (speculative) horror show that takes place in the Arctic in the mid 1800s.

Haven't really watched television in a couple years but I should get over my elitism and check some of these new shows

Is this Shackleton's expedition? Arctic/Antartic explorers back in those days had to be absolutely nuts/fearless to do expeditions like these. I love the story of Robert E Peary who tried to become the first person to reach the north pole and failed to make it, just miles away from the destination.
