there are few songs ive honed my skipping skills with more than Your Pretty Face is Going To Hell
thats mainly cause its mixed 1000 times louder than the rest of the album tho
the true mix of the album doesnt suffer from that
glorious banger
damn whereas its hardest competition of 1973 (Aladdin Sane) doesnt just have a skip but a delete forever with that Lets Spend The Night Together cover
its not bad but I definitely skip Money off DSOTM
Tubular Bells has no skips
1. Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
2. Faust - Faust IV
3. John Martyn - Inside Out
4. John Fahey - Fare Forwarded Voyagers
5. John Martyn - Solid Air
6. David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
7. Klaus Schulze - Cyborg
8. Can - Future Days
9. Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure
10. Stevie Wonder - Innervisions

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath doesnt either
not counting Tonights The Night as '73?
thoughts on Quadrophenia?
Grateful Dead? Santana? Zappa? Cale?
Faust Tapes way more fascinating than Faust 4 imo
Krautrock and Picnic On A Frozen River (IV) put it ahead for me but tbf I should give Faust Tapes another try

SBS' first side is perfect but second side brings it down for me
Tonight's The Night probably tops 75 for me.
Quadrophenia still too massive but thread motivates me to listen to it again.
Santana is good but not Top 10 for me. Same with Cale and Zappa. Reed's Berlin would actually be my #11 if i think about it.

Yea it would take a lot for me to be “star struck” these days haha still John Waters is a real one

Quadrophenia could’ve been 50 mins. Maybe even less

I was definitely star struck when I had lunch beside Neil Young but to be fair he was always an icon in my household
Returning to King Crimson's Red for the first time in 5 years and I'm blown away all over again. The sound they cooked up on that one is incredible, with insane rhythms and some of Fripp's best playing. That ascending guitar line in the last verse of Fallen Angel is peak.

You seen BEAT live?

Two regulars on one page is insane. Maybe @HeyFella was right to not have discussions out of this thread.

They don’t even try to engage in conversation anymore. Just dismiss you outright and Karen to the mods.
