    Nicholson gives me the same vibes as DDL. They're f***in awesome but I can't get into their heads at all.

    For sure but Chinatown objectively one of the most masterly executed epics oat which explored the corrupting influence of greed and power (something Polanski knows about more than most having grown up in a concentration camp). It's definitely slow but deeply refined. And Nicholson is the goat.
