reading HOTH reviews from the time it came out
they didnt see the vision
Their best album, f*** a critic
What does “achtung” mean?
Something like "Beware!" or "Caution!" in most cases when it's used as an imperative. However, it can also mean something like respect.
Physical Graffiti is one of my fav CDs to play while driving. Absolute peak of Bonham and Page
It's kind of their Exile On Main Street. Double album with plenty songs that showcase their influences and what makes them great.
The Rover, Trampled Under Foot, Kashmir, In The Light, Down By The Seaside, Ten Years Gone and Boogie With Stu are just amazing

facts and The Rover and Down By The Seaside especially are
Pulp was unbelievable. Jarvis is 60 and still has the same energy he did in a lot of their old live performances. Voice has held up great. 2 hours of top notch music, played 9/12 from Different Class. The new one they did sounded really nice too.
agreed he still sounds exactly the same
and his little vogue shuffle dance moves are even better now. incredible presence.
Pulp one of those bands whose lyrics immediately stuck in my head and whose songs are incredibly fun to sing along to so it felt amazing being surrounded by a bunch of Brits that also knew every word and had been fans for decades longer than me
added to my experience tremendously
Zeppelin 4 to No Quarter and Rain Song must’ve been an adjustment
well the only way to top Stairway was to do a Rain Song with its Astral Weeks type impossibly subtle, infinitesimally structured melodic momentum to a transcendent release
every time I listen to this album, I think of this

@Koala
been a while since i jammed this. good band.
My band's new song is out today, I think we really cooked on this one

It's out on Spotify and Apple Music too:

I recently bought a Guild 12 string electric and that ended up being the backbone of the song's sound. REM was a big influence; we even used Pretty Persuasion as a reference when we were mixing.

love how open-sounding the guitar makes this song feel. Your singer reminds me a bit of Morrisey. It's a nice contrast.

That's me on vocals and guitar. Our bassist handles the production (though I'm heavily involved in every aspect of mixing) and piano. My roommate who I'm in another band with is on drums.
I always hear the Morrissey comparison and I take it as a big compliment because even though he's a s***bag he has a great texture to his voice
