What's your favorite album cover of '73?

I always change my phone's wallpaper to a good one from the year I'm studying and went with For Your Pleasure this time :datass: instead of obvious ones like Sane and DSOTM

first part was def a bit intriguing but i wanted it to go on for longer.

2nd part i couldnt really connect at all with. i didnt really find the faye wong character or her actions very compelling a lot of the times i was just like also got sick of hearing california dreamin for the dozenth time

was gonna give it 2.5 stars but it did look very good so i gave it 3

listened to it last week and i believe only Lady Grinning Soul this week. Currently full in Bowie stan mode and revising opinions. A New Career In A New Town Box set really opened up my eyes on Lodger. Visconti Mix elevated it to (almost?) Fear Of Music tier to me. Stage is also a fantastic live record now everything is there. Young Americans is mostly good. Only the Across The Universe cover and maybe Can You Hear Me are a bit iffy. Title track close to Top 10 Bowie

As for cover art, I really like Innervisions, Solid Air, Tubular Bells a lot too.

And of course Head Hunters and Let's Stay Together covers are fantastic

For Your Pleasure is nice and might be my fav Roxy Music cover as well (even though Avalon comes close.) I just love that nocturnal vibe.

Yeah I know Time is considered the prime deep cut from Sane but Lady Grinning Soul is probably the most powerful piece of music on the album.

You definitely need to remind me about that Visconti mix when we get to '79.
Young Americans title track contender for top 1 Bowie tbh so much life packed into that thing.

I have nostalgia for For Your Pleasure cause I expertly recreated in miniature on my calendar back in the day. Also we got a little jet black mini Jaguar kitty last year.
