Yeah he sucks ass. He was alright back in like 2020, but has gotten so much worse. I remember that internet special he did before the election felt refreshing at the time, but he’s such a lame personality at this point.

shame cuz i think hes probably the best prog vocalist. extremely expressive and emotive and i think he also just has a very distinctive quality in his timbre. i think he did get technically better as he became a solo artist but he had a youthfulness in the early days that was special too

the best albums are coming for 1973 and 1974 tho. plus a 1973 live one that makes the early 70s songs harder

took them years to sink in as one of the best bands of the decade, not sure why. they just have such a sense of regality and taste about them. more of a planets aligning of their individual personalities thing to me than other prog bands who were just f***ing great musicians forming bands. A lot of artists tried to recapture their brand of sophisticated Englishness (or translate it to their respective cultures) but most of them couldn't pull it off as well

He was awesome in the 80s but yeah so far the vocal performances have sounded kinda undercooked. Just always straining in the same note to my ears. I'll keep on them if course.

I didn't know who he was till this year when somebody posted a video of him trying to talk about rap but having no clue what he was talking about. Then I saw him at a roast and he sucked. Then I watched some of his stand-up and I realized he's the new Dane Cook with fans that are just f***in ingoramus'.

Dane Cook was physically gifted though

I remember a broski back in high school turned me on to Dane Cook from a CD and he had everyone cracking up, this was before he blew up. Then all of a sudden he was everywhere and the most popular comic.. Then it was almost like something clicked and nobody thought he was that funny
