So I saw Uncut Gems, thought it was alright. I was actually expecting the colon cancer to kill him in the end. Im not huge on the Safdie's kinetic style of direction, felt like it worked in some scenes and was obnoxious in others. My mon KG killed it tho and props for bringing back Eric Bogosian who I hadn't seen since the excellent Talk Radio.

Yeah it's lovely. I had to stop listening to the singles because u didn't wanna overplay them, but I think Fire and Lilac might be the 2 best songs she's ever made. And everything sounds so damn smooth

i’d say so far i’m digging it as much as any of her other records, which is a high compliment. if you were thinking of checking her out, peep Ivy Tripp. it’s her most varied/“experimental” album

I didnt think it was bad but yea it didnt wow me either. I havent seen Good Time in a minute, all I remember was Pats channeling his inner Vincent Gallo for that role
